Title – Christmas Eve Night

As a whole class the children decided what they wanted their window to be called and what it should look like. In small groups they worked really hard on all the individual parts – drawing, cutting, colouring, sticking and gluing. As you can see, Santa is delivering all of the presents, with the help of his six trusty reindeer! It was so important that the window was completely designed and created by the children. They then enlisted some help from Amanda to get everything stuck onto the window (with clear instructions given from the children!) We think it looks AMAZING!

 ‘Slam Dunk on the South Pole’

We made a picture of Santa Claus playing basketball and scoring a basked in our 3D basketball hoop. We made a scoreboard that shows how good Santa is and how easy it was for him to beat all the creatures of the south pole.

As we were exploring Antarctica, we also drew penguins. We learned all about penguins but we really enjoyed that all Penguin bars come with a joke so we wrote lots of Christmas jokes to go with our Antarctic penguins. Our favourite joke is ‘What does Miley Cyrus eat for Christmas dinner? TWERKY’.

We also love Christmas so we made some Elves and we wanted to raise everyone’s ‘Elf Esteem’ so all of the elves are giving compliments to everyone who walks by our classroom.
