There are so many amazing resources available online for parents who are on Instagram or Facebook. Many resources which we previously had to pay for are now available online for FREE… I’ll continue to try to highlight a few of these over the coming weeks.
Autism Little Learners
Autism Little Learners was created by a Speech & Language Therapist who has specialized in autism for the past 20 years. Tara has created lots of free social stories to support children during these strange times.
You can find her resources at www.autismlittlelearners.com
Save with Stories - @savewithstories
When schools shut down in many counties across the world Jennifer Garner and Amy Adams set up @savewithstories. This account is on Facebook and Instagram where they’re offering stories to provide fun and education to kids and parents stuck at home during the coronavirus outbreak. The account has lots of videos of some of our children’s favourite stories being read aloud.. with some famous faces you might recognise.
OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY RESOURCES
Another useful online resource I recently came across is @occupationaltherapyabc. This was set up by Aoife Costello, Occupational Therapist. She provides some useful tips and information on her instagram and facebook pages. I have shared a few of these in the gallery below.

She has a very interesting Facebook page, with lots of videos of herself and others doing this program. These might be interesting for children to watch or for parents and teachers to learn from.
